A new world to me!! I have never lived South. So I have no idea what’s here. I have to find a new Walmart, New Dogtopia, New Nail Place. Ha!!

A good friend of mine suggested this place from a friend of hers. I was game because it was cheap. So here’s some things to know about this place:

Pros:

1. You can leave your camper here all year round, can only live here April 1-October 31
2. Nice little lake here to fish, kayak etc
3. Very quiet, most people are not full time, during the week I barely see anyone
4. Gated community

Cons:

1. It’s gravel and sand so my floors are a mess, but I have a large rug out my door so as long as my dog stays on that we do okay
2. There’s stickers everywhere. So each time Cooper (my dog) comes in I have to clean him off
3. They don’t have sewer hookup but there’s a guy here that will empty you twice a week for $20/time which is working out great

My lot is right across from the trash cans and portable restroom so that’s convenient. And I’m right by the entrance and the guy who works the RV Park so that makes me feel safe.

I’ve been sleeping pretty well. Just need to get up once at night and let the dog out. Right now the weather is wonderful so I have windows open.

I’ll post more about this place when the summer hits. Who knows how things will go.
